Capital Bikeshare 101
Capital Bikeshare is bikeshare and not bike rental. With bikeshare, riders tap into a network of bikes and stations all over the DC area for short, one-way trips instead of one all-day trip. Think of it as a shortcut for distances too short to drive to but too far on foot.
Your residents can have full access with a membership for an unlimited number of 45-minute Classic bike rides. Non-members can enjoy single rides on Classic bikes for $0.15 a minute per ride with a $1 unlocking fee.
